Strobist: This was taken with a single large softbox set at about f11 of f16. The model was kneeling on the floor with her back to the softbox, which was to camera right, and I asked her to tilt her head back so she was looking up to the ceiling. I stood behind her back and took the shot from there. I think the shadows were a little stronger in the original shot and I lightened them a bit in Photoshop.

General: I've tried a few different shots with hoods in the last 6 months and this is my favourite. I wanted to create a picture like you'd get on a magazine or winter fashion catalouge.
