This is hilarious. From the screen of a laptop in front of me. Slashdot? RSS Reader? Digg? Nope. Celebrity gossip.

Just goes to show you. Everyone loves celebrity gossip.

Clint got some computer time in on Christmas day

Secangkir kopi untuk menemani disaat membaca slashdot :-) Bangun tidur jam 3, kerja sebentar, buat kopi hmmm sedap.

My first (and accidental) visit to Slashdot.com inspired me not to go back, unless I need a bit of a chuckle again.

Easily the highlight of Mashup Camp 3: John Herrin's Ruby demonstration. Two or three very small lines resulted in a full-on Bayesian analysis that was pretty darn good at telling the difference between a post on Digg and a post on Slashdot.

Ironically, the ad on the slashdot story for talk like a pirate day was for the BSA, encouraging you to report piracy :)

After a good 10-15 hours of sitting in front of a computer at work I come home to do the same. I ritually queue up my usual 10+ tabs and turn what should be a 20 minute event into an evening.

Only on Slashdot! :-) This comment is modded 'insightful'...

Ok, it's in response to some RIAA lawyer spouting nonsense, but still...

dammit, where's my new monitor

I hit 10 years at Geeknet in January.

My (checked) bag got soaked, including an inner bag, as if it were stored in a puddle. The U.S. airways folks at Philadelphia (I'm thinking specificially of the supercilious, sarcastic "Nick .P") were unfriendly, unhelpful and rude; I actually had hoped for even a minor apology, and instead was informed that it might have rained. You know, I never had bags soaked like this flying into / out of Seattle ...

Who had the time to put these billboards up, anyways? Quite frankly, they're late. After all, haven't all of us survivors been busy lately dealing with the fallout (literally) from the nuclear war, dealing with roving bands of HK units, etc.

They can pry my plasma rifle out of my cold, dead fingers.

You can take me Sun Blade, but ye'll hav'ta pry Solaris from me cold dead fingers!

Only at MIT would you find slashdot bins!
