These were all made by one Guide (13-15 year old) camper in a single season. She voluntarily completed a vigorous regimen of skill building and produced these varied pieces as well as completed various other community based tasks in order to pass her SOAR, including;
reed identification, dying, rinsing, bundling, materials preparation, Tool identification and management, basketry skills in start stop, filled bottoms, texture, rim scarfing, twine, three rod wale, rolled and braided rims, colorwork, pattern following, pattern writing, using a wooden base, adding handles, incorporating multimedia, informational and organizational sign making, and teaching basic skills.
