Eclipse by Pink Floyd
All that you touch
All that you see
All that you taste
All you feel
All that you love
All that you hate
All you distrust
All you save
All that you give
All that you deal
All that you buy
Beg, borrow or steal
All you create
All you destroy
All that you do
And all that you say
And all that you eat
And everyone you meet (everyone you meet)
All that you slight
And everyone you fight
All that is now
All that is gone
All that's to come
And everything under the sun is in tune
But the sun is eclipsed by the moon
He sat across from her and arched his eyebrow. "Okay then, show me what you got." he sneered.
She looked at him, as did all the eyes on her corset. She grinned and all the eyes squinted. "You asked for it..." she hissed.

The garden is set in the wooded surroundings of a 17th century chateau visible across the road. Formerly, the place was called Keukenduin, literally "the kitchen of the dunes". The name Keukenduin comes from the fact that the products of the dune region, such as game, cattle and all kinds of herbs and berries, were destined for the owners of the castle. To then become Keukenhof or "The vegetable garden" which was to serve the castle with vegetables and aromatic herbs.
It was in 1949 that the Keukenhof gardens were created at the instigation of the Mayor of the time, wishing to promote the work of horticulturists. Since then, bulb producers in the region have exhibited their most beautiful varieties of tulips each year in grandiose beds.

Skye had always been a bit of a skeptic. When her friends suggested visiting Fairyland, a magical realm known for its flying creatures and fantastical wonders, she had rolled her eyes. But the excitement in their voices was infectious, and she couldn't resist.
As she wandered through the bustling exhibition grounds, Skye's eyes widened at the sight of dragons soaring overhead, unicorns grazing in fields of shimmering dew, and mermaids gracefully swimming in crystal-clear ponds. But nothing prepared her for what she saw next.
A group of pigs, dressed in tiny aviator suits, were lined up in front of a peculiar, aerodynamic contraption. Their snouts were twitching with anticipation, and their eyes sparkled with a mischievous glint.
"Look!" someone shouted, pointing at the pigs. "They're going to fly!"
Skye scoffed, but as the contraption whirred to life and the pigs took off, soaring into the sky with incredible grace, her jaw dropped. There, before her very eyes, were flying pigs.
The pigs performed loops, dives, and barrel rolls, their tiny wings flapping furiously. Skye watched in awe as they soared higher and higher, their squeals of delight echoing through the air.
When the pigs finally landed, Skye couldn't resist. She approached one of them, a particularly plump piglet with a cocky grin. She scratched behind its ears and asked, "So, how does it feel to be a flying pig?"
The piglet oinked happily, as if to say, "It's the best thing ever!"
From that day forward, Skye's skepticism about the magical world of Fairyland was gone. After all, she had seen pigs fly with her own eyes.

"Maybe you should be shooting RAW?" observed the gull.
I used to shoot RAW, and could still, but I'm enjoying the convenience of WiFi upload to iPad, and there's more learning curve to deal with RAW on iOS. For most purposes, choosing a level curve in the camera that's -2 stops at highlights and +2 stops in shadows works well. But maybe RAW would have enabled a bit more detail on the gull's head in this case.
But since his was the only entry, he won first place.

THE SKEPTIC
If you're wondering why all the wooden walkways everywhere, it's because the ground is so hot it can actually melt and burn the bottoms of your shoes if you walk on it.
Personally, I doubted that statement so I had to find out for myself else where in the park, and sure enough, it was melting the bottom of my Nikes and I had to run back to the pickup take them off and wait for them to cool down before I could continue wearing them again.
When I was a kid my folks told me that, and I wanted to test that claim, but not in their presents. I thought if that was so, then how did the carpenters build those walks without having the feet cooked? Still an interesting question in my opinion.

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so they might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

I know sometimes she seems negative, but we need people to be more skeptical these days. It seems like too many people believe every cock and bull rumor they hear. Come on, people. A little common sense would help.
