"These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" is a hit song written by Lee Hazlewood and recorded by American singer Nancy Sinatra. It charted on January 22, 1966,[6] and reached No. 1 in the United States Billboard Hot 100 and in the UK Singles Chart.[5]

...sang about New York,

that this city never sleeps,

this applies to Frankfurt as a whole and

Not at all. Frankfurt likes to sleep

and a lot. But if you kiss it awake,

then it's off.

You just have to know how. Frankfurt

you have to touch a thousand times until

it eventually zooms in.

thanks for looking...

Wenn Sinatra....

....über New York sang,

dass diese Stadt niemals schlafe,

so gilt das für Frankfurt ganz und

gar nicht. Frankfurt pennt gerne

und viel. Doch wenn man es wach küsst,

dann geht es ab.

Man muss halt wissen wie. Frankfurt

muss man tausendmal berühren, bis

es irgendwann 'Zoom' macht.

danke fürs schauen....

A couple of frosty little leaves in my front yard…they looked to me like they were getting ready to fly off to somewhere; perhaps, as Frank sang, to the moon…I also liked that they kind of appeared to be holding hands ;-)

Fly me to the moon

Let me play among the stars

Let me see what spring is like

On Jupiter and Mars

In other words, hold my hand…

the on and only sinatra was a really nice event :-))

I'm like Albert Schweitzer and Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein in that I have a respect for life - in any form. I believe in nature, in the birds, the sea, the sky, in everything I can see or that there is real evidence for. If these things are what you mean by God, then I believe in God. Frank Sinatra

Everyone likes birds. What wild creature is more accessible to our eyes and ears, as close to us and everyone in the world, as universal as a bird?

See it in your eyes

You might as well be honest 'cause the

Body never lies

Tell me your secrets and I'll

I'll tell you mine ...

What might have been lost

Been on a slight Bon Iver binge the past few days, maybe its the moody weather we've been having. Been feeling restless and blue.

Sinatra’s Only the Lonely. What an amazing album. One of my all time favs and thought it was time for a spin since I haven’t listened to it in a while. Angel Eyes alone is worth the price of admission.
