Mir i spokoj luke Šilo
U tišini plavog sata mali brodići sanjaju vezani uz obalu, pod svjetlom lampi koje se tope u mirnome moru. Nebo još uvijek čuva oblake da ne probude čamce, ali uskoro će svitanje razbiti ovaj mir.
Ribari će krenuti na svoja jutarnja mora, ljudi će izaći na rivu u potragu za obavezama… Ali sada, još ovaj tren, sve spava. I neka spava – jer najljepše je kada snovi plutaju u tišini.
Peace and tranquility in the port of Šilo
In the silence of the blue hour, little boats dream at the pier, beneath streetlights melting into the calm sea. Clouds drift quietly, careful not to wake them, but soon dawn will break this peace.
Fishermen will set out to sea, people will fill the promenade… But now, for this moment, everything still sleeps. And let it sleep – for dreams float best in silence.
The controversial silos at White Bay, Sydney.
Strange signs encountered by me at White Bay, near Rozelle, in Sydney, on Wednesday 1st March, 2023.
Apparently we can: "Get almost anything on Uber Eats"
BUT absolutely: "No Giant Silos"
But my problem was just staying out of the way of random Mack trucks whilst taking photographs of silos.
What was a Mack truck doing there anyway?
A bizarre incident.

I am guessing this may be an older silo refurbished and painted.
To me, the silo resembles, a lighthouse, a windmill or even a small castle.....it most definitely has a European flair.
It's absolutely wonderful to view.

The Tungamah Silos were the first silos to be painted in North East Victoria and set a precedence for three more to follow in the next 18 months. They were painted by Western Australia street artist Sobrane Simcock with stage one completed in February 2018.
The initial mural depicted dancing Brolgas on the tall concrete silos and the much loved Australian Kookaburra on the short silo.
Then in September 2019, Sobrane returned to paint around the Kookaburra to include the loveable Pink and Grey Galah, a Humming bird, a cheeky owl hiding in the leaves, a Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, two small wrens and a white Ibis, sitting in the thick foliage of a gum tree.
