Two of the first signs of springs in the northern interior of British Columbia... some green in the grass and the return of grizzlies.
The grizzly bears den higher up in the hills but come down to lower elevations to eat weeds and grass in the spring. As the vegetation and dining choices change, they follow their stomach back up in the hills and later in the year they feast on buffalo and other berries.
Established in 1950 by the Wong Family, Kowloon has undergone several expansions and has grown to become one of the premier and top-grossing Chinese restaurants in the United States. (#54 of 100 in the Boston Signage Project)
