One of the side effects of the chemo agent that I'm on (Doxil), is called Hand Foot Syndrome. Last month I got it BAD. It was a first for me so I wasn't sure what to expect. Blisters are a big part. In addition to that, there was swelling, strange stabbing intermittant pains and a feeling akin to having your feet fall asleep - constantly. I had to stay off my feet for well over 8 days. The other foot had about four blisters and then I had one on the left hand as well.
It wasn't fun.

Most adverse events were mild or moderate and did not lead to discontinuation. Side effects include late night surfing, cameras taken everywhere, new contacts, lomo effects and HDRs. Flickr will cause inspiration and increase in need to eat food.

We have an adjustable hospital-style bed in our bedroom. I hate sleeping in it because it means I feel ill and I'm away from my wife, who sleeps in the bed you can see on the left here. We're in the same room, but it feels wrong, so I stay in the big regular bed whenever I can.
While taking a walk the other day we happened upon this chucked partially-full bottle of Entresto behind the medical center where we walk. My wife noticed these strange pigmented marks growing into my fingernails. Apparently fingernail changes are a common side effect of the capecitabine (Xeloda/5FU) pills I take every day.

Funny story; today while I was outside photographing Katie I heard one of my apartment complex's maintenance men pull up next to me in his golf cart. He waddled over and asked if I'd like to take a picture of my doll sitting in the golf cart--so of course I threw Katie in the front seat and voila! there she is. Sadly the sun was all over so she's a bit white but that's okay.
