This guy was the longest serving, hardest mofo in the Empire; he'd carved his way through the nomads & the clowns, decked the Dragon then pounded the goblins, the lizards and two of the Horsemen into the ground.

Here we can see A) that there are only three factions left, of which the wizards are members of the congregation of the Octopi, so we like them, and the elves have the temerity to have some sort of nature cult. This won't do.

However, since a while back, these wars have been having nasty sideeffects in that we came to the rescue of the wizards from the elves and they pulled the 'walking forests trick'. All of a sudden the cyclops holding War is attacked by hordes of treants. He beats them off, but there are consequences, namely:

C - This guy has a lot of trohpies; the Axe of Orthus, the plagueblade and - importantly - the blade of War - which adds a point to the armageddon clock (B) every time it slays.

This can be tricky, when deep in enemy terrain where the trees are trying to eat you...
