Whytecliff Park (15.63 hectares in size) is located in a beautiful corner of Howe Sound with a rugged coastline and spectacular views of colourful mountains and passing boats.

This beachfront image reminds me of a screensaver.

I can just imagine how spectacular places like this are at sunset...the problem with long road trips is being in places for only short periods of time. We drove from California (actually from Phoenix to Ca to OR to WA to MO SD etc back to Nova Scotia so we could never stay in one place for long enough. Now that I am addicted to being a grandmother I may never get back...at least I have lots of photos to enjoy.

Taken in Hoorn, Netherlands in December 2015.

Usually packed with yachts, and boats.

Hurricane on the way to St Augustine as I post this. So, I am hoping in the tides, too.

In a view from a precarious perch high above the rugged shores of Lake Superior, Canadian Pacific train No. 935 curves through Mink Tunnel near Coldwell, Ontario, on September 23, 1993. The consist of 935 today is made up of mostly converted 40 and 50-foot boxcars carrying wood chips.

All the boats are gone except for a few hardy lobster boats.
