I am mad at myself this morning, I trusted the card that failed the other day and it did it again. A total kick in the gut! Shame on me! Also, my heart isn't in this, the realization that my son is moving out of state in three days has hit me hard today. He moved out 6 years ago, has graduated from college and got married last week but all of this happened in state. I got to witness it all and be in his life but now I'll have to learn how to be without having him around. Ever feel like your world is shrinking?

My friend, Don Iannone mentioned this link after visiting this picture about a book called 'dark nights of the soul', and I liked this paragraph from it:
"The dark night of the soul provides a rest from the hyperactivity of the good times and the strenuous attempts to understand yourself and to get it all right. in the southern hemisphere its the time when from deepest darkness comes First Light

the moment of solstice is at 5:45 a.m. universal time on june 21st
so that's 1:45 a.m. on the east coast of the americas
in the dawn hours through europe
in the afternoon "down under"
and
its 10:45 p.m. june 20th on the west coast of the americas
7:45 p.m. here in hawai'i

am writing you at midnight on midsummer's eve here in hawai'i.. *;)
from ancient times it was believed that mid~summer plants had miraculous healing powers.
they were picked on this night then doused with water to amplify their healing strength ~*
some of these plants are dog rose :), st. john's wort, mallow, foxglove, rosemary, elder flower and laburnum
(indian laburnum is the healing tree in my last image :)
have had to be away a few days, am so happy to be able to swim in your streams again ~

Social media isn’t a safe place to store memories. Anyone can delete them in seconds. To preserve some moments, I’m uploading them to Instagram as a way to keep them alive.
Although I had preordered her last year, she came much later and claimed the "First doll of 2021" spot.
She is fun, but definitely not near the quality of the BMR1959 line, which is to be expected since they are aimed at different market segments. She has nice details though, that hair is amazing, the outfit is cool, and that pet poodle is CUTE! Overall, a fun doll. While I'm glad I tried out one, I don't see myself getting more from this line.
