I was going to post a recent image that I shot for this theme, but kept coming back to this one from last summer, because it was like a double abandonment. The flowers that were left there; and the man (in my mind) who waited there to give them to her, and she never came...
I was out most of the day and will do my best to catch up with you on the weekend.

on the way home, she pointed to the flowers on the corner (we were at stop sign), and said, "mom, you can take a picture of me there, with the flowers."
we are almost 1/2 way through the 365 and she is so so good and patient with it.. for her to be the one to point out a picture spot is so sweet to me :)

The greatest gift is Love... someone famous said that.
This year I tried growing some succulents in small pots in the back garden. Brought them inside for the winter and they now live in the kitchen window. This is one of them this morning, glowing in the morning sun. You can really see the glowing leaves when you zoom in. :-)
