Friday, October 18th was our 14th annual Women Making a Difference luncheon! womenmakingadifference.net/ The event helps support Family Support Center and Kids First Children's Advocacy Center, programs of Rural Resources. This was an extra special event this year because we unveiled our new logo: Wo+men Making a Difference! What perfect timing with Patrick Lemmon speaking about the role of men in ending violence! Family Support Center is a program of Rural Resources offering advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child sexual abuse, elder abuse and all crimes.
