One of four Greater male Scaups pleasantly enjoying the golden light. I got seperation on this shot from the hens he was hiding behind. The tricky thing about these guys is getting the green to show on the head. He had turned just right allowing it to show it's brilliance.

Even before humans could think of the spiked hairdo, this bird mastered the art, and looks several times more beautiful too.

The Closest Thing To Crazy by Katie Melua
There you are; so distantly; hidden behind the blossom where lovers meet;
standing so pensively on castle stones trodden smooth
by the endless march of time and soldier's feet.
There you dream so deeply; scented flowers wafting by, in clouds of white,
falling gently to the ground, like angel feathers float down from the skies at night.
I look to you in vain hope you will see how much your story means to me,
but we are parted by nine hundred years and a thousand deep seated memories;
through layered time and misty veils of weathered treasures,
I seek the truth of all that went before and ancient pleasures.
My romantic heart has travelled through the morning haze,
to find you here and follow quietly the direction of your silent gaze.
I wonder if you will ever look my way or brighten up my darkest day.
I trace your steps across the lawn and make my way; to await the dawn.
I'm surer than I've ever been that lost in time; a change of scene,
our love that once traversed the universe was never just a dream.
In my pocket I carry with me the musty yellowed remnants of what you wrote;
imprinted on my mind and soaked by tears I shed and filled with hope.
Is it possible to transcend the sands of time and love at last will find a home
within a heart where sorrow lived so long that love was left no room …

And yet another one folks I though was pretty interesting when never taking his eyes of me through out, and right between the wing seperations.
Thank you for stopping by everyone it is so very much appreciated.
It is a beautiful thing to meet someone so loving and caring but then you start to worry that another will try to steal that person away from you. Trust is so important and true love will always strengthen your bonds. In a way ones mind tends to become a gaol in which one resides and Jealousy is your warden. So if your love is true and pure then for me, he will never stray nor I because why leave a perfect relationship when your hearts beat as one.

Six degrees of separation is the theory that everyone and everything is six or fewer steps away, by way of introduction, from any other person in the world, so that a chain of "a friend of a friend" statements can be made to connect any two people in a maximum of six steps - Wikipedia

The wooden door frame surviving in this derelict building made a great frame for this pan and tilt effect I like to use. This night was cold and the mist created the background seperation for the silhouette.
Lightpainting created in one photographic exposure; this is not a Photoshop creation.
This morning I spent almost two hours walking the dogs & taking photos...It was the most stunning frost I have ever seen...It wasn't in the woods (more protected) but in wide open areas such as the golf course we traverse over to get to the Nature Preserve. Not only was it frosty, it was extremely foggy...

Best place for talking about
Eternity, universe, world,
Being good person,
Seperation, poorness, death
Human, love, brotherhood
And The ONE
WHO created everything
And Real Religion
Which carry to REAL LOVE...

My favourite from this morning's shoot. This is actually a re-shoot from earlier in the morning. And in turn, a re-shoot from yesterday.
The fog had thickened a little for this shot. I also, preferred this one as I didn't crop the branch on the left. That seemed more obvious as the denser fog created more seperation.
I came across this lonely fellow on the old corpse road above Haweswater reservoir on the west side of the English Lake district. I passed it on the way up but the lighting was flat and didn't allow seperation from the backdrop of the fells on the otherside of Haweswater so I didn't take the shot. However on the way down the sun lit the far hillside and the tree itself..............
