Yes folks my immature male ruby throat got his Senior picture taken today as in such a short time he has run off the older dominant male. For now he is not even afraid of me which is nice.

I will eventually get out and about taking "other" pictures but I am hooked on watching these jewels dance about the garden.

Have a wonderful week! I am forced to play golf tomorrow...Ha!

The shot was taken on island Corfu, Greece.

Every tiny town has a senior citizens' center, and they all look

pretty much like this one in Dalton, Nebraska.

While at a roadside viewpoint these people handed me a cell phone and asked me to take a group shot and I then grabbed this quick shot. These people I think are a strong example also of a big change in generational values of how to live, conduct and present yourself in your senior years compared to seniors were when I was a kid growing up.

The combination of a young woman in a floral dress, amid a field of yellow flowers, creates a picture of natural elegance and grace.

An hour later with a little bit of fog remaining.

I had the opportunity to shoot a high school senior who wanted photos taken with him and his horse Newt. I loved Newt and many best wishes for a great future for this young man. He is also an awesome fiddle player who played a tune for Newt.

She was trying to be serious... haha. If you knew her you'd think this was hilarious!

A bit of play acting going on. That's my flash on an old canon body, his cousin pretends to take his picture.

This shot reminded me of a Senior Barrister in Court :-)

This is senior living? I have never seen anyone at my mother-in-law's nursing home on a motorcycle.

Had a senior session today. I thought it would be a re-schedule since it started hailing 30 minutes before the set up time. I had to reschedule it once already due to bad weather. Luckily it turned out to be a nice afternoon. My wife chipped in to assist. Many thanks to her and to the young lady who was patient with a long shoot. During our pre-session meeting she asked for a field of flowers, bare-foot, natural look. I think we got it. :) For the garage sale junkies out there, the chair with cushion cost me ten bucks last weekend. Score!

The abandoned Huey made for a perfect prop. It was pretty cold that day so we had to shoot fast. Lit with a beauty dish.
