Odeyto Indigenous Centre, Seneca College Newnham Campus, 1750 Finch Ave. E.
This gathering space for First Nations, Métis and Inuit students to study, socialize, and observe traditions while away from home, was created by Gow Hastings in collaboration with Two Row, an Indigenous-owned and -operated architectural firm based on the Six Nations reserve in southern Ontario. The result: design elements that are not only stunning, but also hold meaning across Indigenous cultures.
The curvilinear addition, completed in 2018, resembles a canoe docking along the existing concrete structure, with striking red doors that honour missing and murdered Indigenous women. From the interior, the 28 wood beams, beginning at the floor and arching high overhead, symbolize the ribs of a canoe or mammal, as well as the cycle of the moon.

Eaton Hall is a large house in King City, Ontario, Canada, built in the Norman style for Lady Eaton in 1938-39 on a 700-acre (2.8 km²) parcel of land (partly the Ferguson farm). Lady Eaton and her husband, Sir John Craig Eaton acquired the land in 1920 and 1922 on recommendation from their friend Sir Henry Pellatt, who owned the nearby Mary Lake property.
Lady Eaton moved into Eaton Hall three years after selling her city mansion, Ardwold. The house is adjacent to a body of water named Lake Jonda (a combination of the first three letters of her son John David Eaton's first and middle names), and nestled within the temperate forests of King Township. Upon completion, it contained 72 rooms. It became a beloved gathering place for the Eaton Family, owners of the Eaton's department stores based in Toronto.
I saw this fire engine coming and took a photo. Only later did I realize that it's a Seneca College Pre-Fire program fire truck probably for training purposes. On he front windshield it says "Not in Service." And the side of the pumper has the "Seneca College Pre-Fire Program" lettering.

"Thank you Seneca College for inviting Franco Mirabelli Design to be involved in the Fashion Business Management FIELD project 2015. It was an impressive and creative experience. From day one, when we met with Michel Cote, he made our involvement engaging and easy. The students repeatedly presented themselves as keen individuals with focused minds and ambitious intention. They are clearly being guided by experienced professionals, with a sound focus on high-quality training and the rigors of hard work. Congratulations to the Class of 2015!" - Franco Mirabelli
