From the smog in our breath,
With each footstep, there is a ghost,
Where light is the intruder, scarce and unwelcome.
This is my artificial cocoon,
My womb of obscurity,
Lost under the weight of unfulfilled potential
And everything is hauntingly beautiful.
As we continually inch forward.

This is not smoke, yet strangely it appears as though it is like smoke; but this image means more than this.
This is pure light; reflected light.
This is essentially a photograph in its purest form. Light and nothing else. It has no meaning beyond the very nature that it is what it is: light recorded on film.
It was found not in a distant or exotic place, but in the comfort of my living room. I never saw it before. Now I see and I am satisfied by the awareness that comes with it.

While listening to music, I had some time to self reflect and write in my journal. It was relaxing, and I hope that my words will mean something to future generations.
