Grazing cattle on pasture lands near the national park. Quite a delight to witness as this herd of cattle simply perform life's duties and allows us to experience the smaller things in life. Call me weird but i find it quite relaxing sitting in the dark on the floor by myself, its a good time to self-reflect. So many people have so many issues and i sit and wonder why they havent figured it out. I feel like if more people sat and analysed how, why and what their influence was on everything around them the world would be a much better place. if only eh...

#SelfReflection There is such a thing as being more stubborn than You are Sensible or Smart. In this situation You become Your own worst enemy and a threat to Your own Accomplishment of any Aim; i.e. Success. Sometimes in order to feed Our families, We have to bite Our tongues & swallow Our pride; one of My short-comings is trying to teach those who don't want to be taught and heal those who enjoy being sick. I always want better for people however some get offended because in their eyes, they are content as from where they sit their doing heir Best & have plateaued. Point well taken... though You may have the Best intentions most can't see Your vision without Your eyes. Ultimately We must All keep in mind, without valuing Ourselves drawing valuable things into Our Lives is an uphill battle, backwards with 5 1/2 inch stilettos on. 😏My walk is a living testimony that light can be found in dark places. You can get a much clearer picture of Yourself when You stop looking at your reflection thru shattered glass. #MentalSelfExam There's Always room for Improvement. Too much pride pays below minimum wage where Humility can have You wealthy beyond measure.

The past is dead. Nothing that belongs to it exists anymore.

...you are going through is not fueled by the words or actions of others; it is fueled by the mind that gives it importance.”

Of course, it makes sense.

But sense was never comforting.

It does not chase away

The lonely chill.

You shiver, and logic has lost is tongue.

The beast is on the hunt

But even the scent of shame

Must be earned,

And that is not an award I can claim

So I linger on the empty Plain.

The piano keys answer with a thud

As notes swirl within me

The fate of their voice

Keeps all of us deaf

And they land softly, in the dust.

The sign says stop

But I am not allowed the rest.

Because the phantom pain

Wakes me in my ugly sleep.

I lay awake and make up dreams.

Now, gravity goes to work

I let it, because it has a real job to do

Like my patchwork quilt of comfort

I add a patch of heavy sighs

And it wraps around me an embrace,

Breathing my breath for me.
