Vue du restaurant " Les roches blanches"
The world is full of magnificent cities, and I live in one of them. But for the romantic souls in us all the centre of Paris has to be the Leader. Walking across The Seine from the Left Bank I caught sight of the Bateau Mouche chugging away from Notre Dame. The sun poked out from behind the clouds and my shot was born.
The classic look of the pocket seiner. Well known in the Pacific Northwest for working at the mouth of the river. On my morning walkabout, it amazes me each day how my perception, and reality compare to my pictures. When describing the day as "overcast" at dinner, and then later seeing the day as much brighter in the photo.
