Parsley seed heads drooping after rain

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a blue day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Looking close on Friday is seeds. I had an idea for a picture with dandelions seeds but unfortunately it was very rainy during the last few days so all the dandelions are long gone… So i had to dig in my fridge for any vegetable or fruit with seeds. And a yellow pepper seemed like a good choice. So here we go: yellow pepper with a tiny working team. The search for seeds is officially open !

Mucho, mucho amor for you all !! Have a beautiful day my friends!! See you later!!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!! And see you soon on Flickr !

For Macro Mondays - Layers

A seed on one of our Pittosporum trees. The seed pods are approximately 1/2 inch in diameter and I like the way the seeds are layered inside the pod.

Happy Macro Monday!

The bird feeder filled to the brim with delicious sunflower seeds ......... which greenfinch can resist that

Third and last one of the seeds series, at least for now. This is the same photo I used for the "Symphony", I cropped it to bring out the fascinating details. I love those little "parachute seeds" ! Feel free to zoom in :)

Dandelion Seed

Somehow it became attached to one of the canes on our grape vine. Yes, I know, the vine should be pruned and ready for rolling on by now. It will be done in the next week!

A true sign that Autumn is not far away.

Enjoy a lovely weekend everyone!

For Macro Mondays of 17th April, theme Seeds (NO DANDELIONS!) . I wanted to use a seed currently in our garden, found next to the dandelion seeds (LOL) that the ivy seeds are turning lovely dark. Fits well with a light background.

Opium poppy seeds: Poppy seed, tiny dried seed of the opium poppy, used as food, food flavouring, and the source of poppy-seed oil.The plant, Papaver somniferum, is an herbaceous annual native to Greece and the Orient.Poppy seed is an ancient spice, the seed capsules have been found in Switzerland in the remains of prehistoric lake dwellings.

Macro Mondays:Monochrome

Hello Everyone!

Mother Nature treated Winnipeg to hoar frost one morning, so out I dashed with my macro lens. I found some milkweed seed pods that were all dressed up in their frosted finery!

Thanks a million for stopping by and for leaving a comment. I love hearing from you! Have a wonderful day!
