Dandelion Seed

Somehow it became attached to one of the canes on our grape vine. Yes, I know, the vine should be pruned and ready for rolling on by now. It will be done in the next week!

For Macro Mondays of 17th April, theme Seeds (NO DANDELIONS!) . I wanted to use a seed currently in our garden, found next to the dandelion seeds (LOL) that the ivy seeds are turning lovely dark. Fits well with a light background.

Back again after few days. I took a few days off because sometimes Flickr is overwhelming and takes a lot of time out of my days. I just post no more than two photos a day because that.

I find Maple (Acer) seed pods more beautiful than the flowers it produces in spring. A maple leaf is on the coat of arms of Canada, and is on the Canadian flag. The maple is a common symbol 🍁 of strength and endurance and has been chosen as the national tree of Canada.

Macro Mondays / Seeds

I was given a small packet of unnamed seed by a neighbour which I sprinkled over a small patch of ground that I would like to turn into a wild flower garden to attract Butterflies, Bee's and insects in general. This was one of the resulting plants.

Beside the lake

Those tiny little black balls inside the green pod is the Allium flower seeds.

Lots of these in parts of the fields now. You can see some seeds peeking out. Interesting structure...
