Wireless cameras can be installed just about anywhere because one does not have to worry about the wiring and cables. Also, security of signals has become a matter of lesser concern because of Wi-Fi and Temporal Key Integrity Protocol. We didn't make it to the Square in time, but we did get to watch the show from below an overpass and across the street from a throng of 30 policemen.

Reed's Lock & Access Control has been servicing central Pennsylvania for more than 30 years. We sell, service, and install physical and electronic security hardware and software.

Manged to get my camera lense inside one of the fences erected and coupled with security cameras and detectors all the way around the Richmond Olympic Oval, which is totally closed to the public until ticket holders enter in a month.

This was the shittest AM/PM experience I think I've ever had. My only comfort came from remembering there was a flickr group for posting photos of yourself taken on a security camera.

I know people will say that it's an infringement of our rights, but sometimes we need 4 cameras looking at the same thing!

I dislike all of these security cameras.

There are cameras like this everywhere in Monaco, although you tend not to notice them that often.

I knew something was wrong with this place. Like the Stepford Wives meets the X-Files meets The Truman Show. Found this camera and I can't help but wonder who's on the other side...

(not sure if I got this right, but I guess I went more for the flavour...?)

Gotta love security cameras at Jewel. It just makes it even more ghetto.

This cam seemed to be located in a community room on a college campus. I looked around and found, to my surprise, a bunny & turtle. :P

One of the first application I downloaded to my iPhone was the free Snapseed application. It's a lot of fun, but I don't have full resolution files of all my digital photos on my phone so it's not much use except for photos taken on the iPhone itself.

Fortunately there is a desktop version of Snapseed. It isn't free like the iPhone version, but it still not that expensive at £13.99, so I downloaded it.

These shots are my first experiments with the grunge filter, which I have to admit I'm rather taken with. What do you think?

BTW these shots are all from a trip to Glasgow in Early 2012. They are mostly from Merchant City in Glasgow city centre, and Coatbridge (near the Summerlee Industrial Museum).

Ugh this bad bank haha. Ugh these triangles-circles-squares are vapid AND insipid: Are all of the bank's customers infants and toddlers!

Inside a Jamba Juice. I asked the lady behind the register if it was normally like this. She said it was probably because it's bright outside. Maybe the camera was toggling back and forth between assisted IR and natural IR, but both were overexposed?

They've been installing security/surveillance cameras in the Ditmars Boulevard subway station the last few days. See the picture above for all of the cameras I could spot in the picture. There are even more out of the shot. It all goes back to this:

www.amny.com/news/local/am-cameras0411,0,1787789.story?co...

Note that the story said back in April that they were already installed at the Ditmars station and would be operational in 2 months. That's not true at all. These cameras just showed up this week.

It also said that the cameras would be operational at other Astoria stations by the end of the summer. Well, they weren't in time for this: gothamist.com/2007/09/03/man_fatally_sho.php

The Empire State Building and its reflection (and a security camera).

DVR for security camera system.

Ava Security, a Redwood City-based company, makes networked dome cameras designed for real-time video analytics rather than simple recording. Its systems pair camera hardware with cloud software that can flag specific events—loitering, tailgating at entry points, or unusual crowd movement—for use by city governments, transit agencies, and private security operations.
