I finally did a side-by-side comparison of what Paola looked like with her Lelutka Evo head before the Lelutka 2.5 update. I hadn't noticed some of the dramatic differences but I really do now.
Note, I had to redo my WHOLE shape to try and match Paola's look on the new head because my shape did not work on the udpated 2.5 head and the numbers I'd saved didn't work -- I had to make adjustments. And I'm super happy with the result, even with all the new changes. Just feels more realistic. The update also makes the HUD easier to navigate and for some reason, my BOM layers are working much better than before.
So, not a commercial for Lelutka, but I love my Evo head and I'm glad I made the switch to Lelutka. ♥
*Just a note that I am wearing added eye makeup in the 2nd shot, this is not a result of the base head. The 2.5 shot shows eye makeup that comes in the Lelutka HUD.

Too soon. I light another candle at the memorial I've set up for everyone I love but have no place to visit. Adding the two I have this year has nearly been as hard as when I created this for my dad. I wish I'd had the chance to say goodbye to the virtual sisters I've lost, but this is the best I can do.
Some would say they were only online friends, not real family. They may not have been blood, but they were chosen family. Family that I'll miss more than most of the family I was born into.They were real to me.

She's a silent warrior. The face of chronic pain few understand. The face of going to work, even though her body is screaming at her, and putting on a mask that only others who know pain can see through. It's wearing a smile, telling everyone, "I'm good! How are you?" Even though she's near the point of vomiting, she's hurting so badly. It's coming home and letting a little of the fatigue and pain show through, but still not letting them know how bad it is as she helps with dinner or chores. Because they don't understand. It's taking what she has for pain finally, only for it to barely work, and all she can do is curl up in bed and try to sleep. She can hear the messages coming in from her other half that's 1000 miles away, but can't answer because it's so bad by now that her hands feel like someone is shattering them with a hammer. It's covering her face with a pillow to scream in, because she shifted wrong trying to get comfortable and instead triggered a stronger wave of pain and now she's begging any diety listening for it to stop. Going to the ER is a joke. They blow her off... make her wait an ungodly amount of time because "you're not doing your part and getting it treated" or they think she's a pain pill chaser. So, instead, she stays home and hopes it'll stop. It's wanting someone with her to try and comfort her, but hating putting anyone through watching her deal with this and not be able to help. So she does it alone. And puts on that same brave face in the morning to do it all over again.
