Light trails flow seamlessly on Interstate 5 south of downtown Seattle. Along the left side of the frame, one can see CenturyLink Field -- previously Qwest Field (2004-2011), and previously Seahawks Stadium (2002-2004) -- which is home to the Seattle Seahawks football team.

Desde Tarifa con amor! de los atardeceres más bonitos de contemplar y más aplaudidos cuando el sol se oculta, porque aquí celebramos la puesta de sol cada día, la gente se agrupa en torno al ocaso y cuando el sol desaparece rompen el silencio en una gran ovación, te pone el vello de punta os lo aseguro!
Realizada con filtro ND 6 pasos y ayudada por la cartulina negra para paliar la fuerte luz sobre el horizonte.
Editada en lighroom ligeramente y por separado con la herramienta degradado para el cielo y luego otra para el primer plano.
En photoshop en ligero enfoque de paso alto y voilá!

The interior designer Caroline tries to assemble a nonrepeating pattern discovered by the David Smith from Yorkshire. The shape is supposed to be a in a nonrepeating pattern a so called “einstein” or “one stone. Usually wallpaper or tiled floor are part of an infinite pattern that repeats periodically. An aperiodic tiling displays no such “translational symmetry,” and mathematicians have long sought a single shape that could tile the plane in such a fashion. This is known as the einstein problem.
This portrait captures one of nature’s most elusive songsters — the Nightingale (Luscinia megarhynchos) — in full voice, hidden deep within the lush undergrowth it calls home. Known for its rich, melodic song that echoes at dawn and dusk, this bird is more often heard than seen.
Photographing such a secretive species required a blend of quiet patience, meticulous field craft, and a deep respect for its shy, reclusive nature. After hours of stillness and blending seamlessly into the tangled hedgerows and scrubby woodlands it prefers, I was granted this fleeting moment — the Nightingale in full song, perched boldly, as if unaware of my lens.
This image isn’t just a portrait; it’s a story of stealth, dedication, and the quiet thrill of working in harmony with the wild.

Today I watched the traditional New Year’s Concert of the Vienna Philharmonic — a tradition in my family since childhood, and one I’ve rarely missed. One of the highlights is always the ballet, and this year I suddenly recognized the impressive entrance hall of Vienna’s MAK Museum in one of the performances. It made me want to share a few photos from my visit. If you ever travel to Vienna, don’t miss this museum — it’s incredibly beautiful.
The MAK in Vienna is one of the most exciting museums in the German‑speaking world, seamlessly weaving together art, design, architecture, and applied arts.
Cuando estás en la localización perfecta y encima te acompaña el tiempo, la luz, las nubes, las olas, la marea, pues como que te sientes bendecida por algún tipo de hada o duende !!! no sé las horas que pudimos pasar en esa localización yendo de un encuadre a otro probando largas y cortas exposiciones, ahora en vertical, luego horizontal, que si esta nube por aquí, que el agua entrando, que la estrella vaciándose, sé que sabéis de lo que os hablo porque también os ha ocurrido!
La foto no necesitaba mucha edición ya que tenía un balance de blancos bajo mi punto de vista bastante correcto y una luz perfecta, no obstante probé a aplicarle un filtro radial a la estrella y un filtro degradado al cielo pasándola a continuación a photoshop donde le apliqué el enfoque de paso alto y con el pincel sobrexponer lo pasé en modo luminosidad al 1% sobre las sedas para sacarle un poco más de brillo.
Había algo que no me gustaba en la foto y era que se veía muy marcado el horizonte, quería una edición más surrealista fundir cielo y mar y para ello hice una selección aplicándole un filtro gausiano al 200% hasta fundir cielo y mar, espero que sea de vuestro agrado.

I can't resist trying out my new filters at the moment - even when the conditions aren't particularly wonderful. Here's another for your critique!
These six infrared images of Saturn's moon Titan represent some of the clearest, most seamless-looking global views of the icy moon's surface produced so far. The views were created using 13 years of data acquired by the Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) instrument on board NASA's Cassini spacecraft. The images are the result of a focused effort to smoothly combine data from the multitude of different observations VIMS made under a wide variety of lighting and viewing conditions over the course of Cassini's mission.
Previous VIMS maps of Titan display great variation in imaging resolution and lighting conditions, resulting in obvious seams between different areas of the surface. With the seams now gone, this new collection of images is by far the best representation of how the globe of Titan might appear to the casual observer if it weren’t for the moon's hazy atmosphere, and it likely will not be superseded for some time to come.
