A close up look at how the wind sculpts the sand dunes here in Death Valley.
Hope you all have a wonderful new week ahead!
Thank you for your support and visit.
To kick off 2017 I've decided to make a draugr deathlord from Skyrim! Only reason I've made this custom as an entry into Dalastprime's contest.
This sculpt turned out amazing and it's my favorite sculpt I've made so far and I think the paint job will turn out awesome, I might make some more Skyrim customs so if you have any suggestions let me know!
Comments and faves appreciated! Hope you guys like the sculpt!
A lot of it going on by nature ... here captured in Bryce while there hiking in the early morning light.

There's only a few more days till I present my photos taken in the Hawai'ian Islands to my neighbors here in our mobile home park, and usually I have so many photos that I have to whittle down the total amount for the presentation, in which I usually present about 90 or so images along with narration which I write to fit the time frame. About a half hour.
For my presentation on Hawai'i, called "Tropical Paradise", I picked about 70 images, and that's almost too few, so I've been adding more to the presentation (and to my social media feeds, thus the avalanche of Hawai'i photos lately.
I like this image so much I posted it as my cover for my Facebook Photography site. I remember the day well, and I remember circling this driftwood structure, constructed by someone with driftwood on the beach, for which Lydgate Beach Park is known. As usual, this was one of the images I skipped over when posting the photos from my 2023 trip to Kaua'i, so it's brand new even though it's a few years old!
Several of these indented welded areas featured every few feet on a metal boat sitting on a dock in Steveston Harbour. Each seemed to function as a work of art in their own rite.

Captured during a very enjoyable evening with fellow photographers Sean Lewis, Alan Frost and Gerry Gavigan and I have to say that the dunes were a fair challenge. For me it did't really come together until the last rays of sunlight began to work their magic sculpting the subtle ripples and texture in the sand. I'd like to have stayed a little longer but there was real danger that my car would end up the wrong side of a padlocked gate. I made it with seconds to spare.
This shot was taken from the same point than the previous one: the PeƱalen Bridge. However, in this case the camera was looking to the opposite side of the bridge. Parque Natural del Alto Tajo, Guadalajara (Spain).

Not had time to get out for any photos this week so heres one from Seascale beach a couple of weeks ago. The sand sculpted into waves by the sea caught my eye and I thought it would make an interesting image.
Day 49 of Project 365/2021 (Thursday, February 18 - 1st daily photo): Snowboarding Fox Squirrels have sculpted the 15 inches (38 cm) of snow adorning the railing on our deck into sinuous curves.
It's taken a day's worth of building but I've finished the foundations and dug out part of an impact crater off one corner so the surface doesn't look like poured concrete. Won't do anything else this big to it, just some little details here and there.
Working hard creating some fabulous ice sculptures on Spark's Street Mall, downtown Ottawa, in tme for the Winterlude festivities that kicked-off yesterday.
Hey guy's,
Sorry for my lack of uploading stuff. I've been going through a lot lately and customizing wasn't my number one priority. But now that I have some time on my hands, I can finally go back to my hobby!
Here is my finished Vader sculpt! I was gonna post him before the premierre of episode 7 (Which was amazing btw!) but like I said, I didn't have a lot of time.
Currently I'm working on two other sculpts, one which is about 90% finished and the other probably around 60%.
I hope you guy's like him! He won't be painted soon, as I want to spray paint him black instead of using a brush (Saving some time) but I still have to purchase a can.
Cheers!

Here is the Series 18 minifig everyone is talking about right now; mostly because there is only one in a box, and completist colectors have to complete.
Personally, I don't think this is the fig we'll be talking about in 6 months time. There's nothing wrong with this fig, and he does certainly come with a big sweet dollop of nostalgia, but he lacks the raw fun that others in Series 18 have.
The printed tile showing set 600 is a nice touch, and easily one of my favourite parts from this series, and part of me wonders if it could have been spun out a little further with a mini buildable car. As is though? Love it.
