...between two of these trees, then just lie there and listen to the breezes and birds and red squirrels scolding...

Three elements caught my eye here, the difference between the trees a Scotch pine and a Weeping Willow and the long shadows reaching towards the tree on the right, not the best image I have taken but it caught my eye. The old golf course at Brooklands lake Worthing.
Tomorrow I start a mini series on Worthing beach and pier.

Plenty of water on the day. However, needed approx. 5 sec. exposure to show the flow movement using filters.
Another re-edit from a few years ago. I still remember this morning there was a slight frost on the ground with the forecast saying there would be mist I was very hopeful. Arriving a good 45 mins before sunrise I noticed a head torch climbing upwards so I was not going to be alone. Arriving at the tree and after a pleasant chap to the couple who where there already it was simply a case of finding the composition and waiting.
“The wolf said, "You know, my dear, it isn't safe for a little girl to walk through these woods alone."
Red Riding Hood said, "I find your sexist remark offensive in the extreme, but I will ignore it because of your traditional status as an outcast from society, the stress of which has caused you to develop your own, entirely valid, worldview. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must be on my way.”
This place is located in Tralalas Diner Sim @ Pine Lake. It is a fantasy build platform I just played around with as Midsummer Night's Dream sort of thought. Feel free to use it for pix anytime

Whenever I see the Scotch Pine at Martinsell Hill it always struck it seems to be watching the Vale of Pewsey. I wonder what tales this tree could tell.

I started on Flickr 22 Jun, 2008 with my poor English and some old scanned photos from airfields to show you a history of Lithuanian's aviation, latter I'd bought my first digital camera Fujifilm FinePix S1000fd. Step by step I am learning from your great photos. Today I can say - world of photography is fantastic !!! 50.000 views, more then 1000 favored my photos, but the main thing is you, my dear Flickr friends and contacts. Thank you so much for your nice comments, great awards, help and friendship !!!

I love the way the sunlight catches the bark of this Scots Pine tree. It seems to make it look very tall against the backdrop of spruce trees. Looks like beech trees in the foreground. Its thanks to the Victorians that we have so many wonderful trees here. Many thousands of trees were planted late 1800s early 1900s. There is an ongoing policy of tree planting and tree protection.
