"As our sloop advanced towards the cove we saw a distant figure on the rocks, waiting for us. Around him there was the glimmering of many lanterns acting as a guide for our oarsmen. As we got closer to shore I began to notice the lights weren't placed, but moving, leaping, dancing and bouncing. A strange sight, but then the professor himself was always tinkering with something new. Closer still, a gasp caught in my throat, for he appeared to be suspended on strange, insect-like legs which found the rocks no trouble at all...."

These lamp critters by Static are utterly adorable and seem to have a personality all of their own. They move and bounce, scuttling about while you pretend to mind your own business. Oh, they also *are* actual lamps :)

I dusted off some ContraptioN's items I've not worn in a while too and was ready to scrabble over some rocks at dawn.

Sadly this sim scenery changed just a week later and is no more in existence. A pity.

I've been revisiting some of my earlier images that really would have been better with a landscape format. Thanks again, Wombo, for the new aspect ratios!

Reminds me of times when I would take a photo to my hairdresser and get something very different.

Thank you for taking a look!

The original photo was of a lone tree in a field in De Forest, Wisconsin. Photofox Cloud Wanderer components were used to create this image.

Sorry, I didn't make note of the style but it looks like either The City or Soft Touch.

The thing I enjoy most about AI is making things that do not exist in a realistic style. Of course I enjoy landscapes and flowers, but I truly have the most fun coming up with imaginary things and places. I hope you enjoy the wanderings of my imagination.

The original photo was of a corner of State Street in Madison, Wisconsin. Photoleap was used to create this image using element of photos that I have taken.

another 3d object I made inspired by research in bioengineered intelligence research. printed on paper using mixed media techniques

I recently went to a local Mexican restaurant that had many vibrant murals. Photoleap was used to create this image.

It’s still much too frigid the take a walk in nature, so I am adding a revised version of “A croc and its tree “. Please note that Wisconsin has no mountains and extraterrestrial visitors are relatively rare. Photoleap Cloud Wanderer was used to create this image.

A cool new addition to the 80 days sim : *80Days* IN A GALAXY ... a STAR WARS venue

I love this outpost. It does have a lot of mesh figures standing here and there but Camila did a wonderful job finding some alien ones and grouping them to make some fun photo vignettes. So far I found two bars you can go inside where you can sit and have a drink.A lot of the buildings look closed but if you touch the airlock door, they open and you can enter the bar, diner, boxing ring or whatever. It looks like a space outpost on an outer planet that is a mix of high tech and medieval village so you'll see a space flyer and also a butcher stall with carcasses to sell meat. I love the feel here. It's perfect to hang with friends and do a roleplay or do a photoshoot featuring scifi clothes.

If you join the 80 days group, you can rez things temporarily for taking pics which is how we're using the Firefly jetbike by Abranimations

Landscaping/Interior decorating of the scenic outpost by C̲a̲m̲i̲l̲a̲ (camila.runo).

A lot of the things are linked here probably to reduce prim count so for many things I can't provide details. So this time I'm going to pass on listing everything I can click on.

The original photo was of Chicago's Union Station where local commuter trains and Amtrak goes. Photoleap was used to convert it into an intergalactic transit station.

Keter-class SCPs are anomalies that are exceedingly difficult to contain consistently or reliably, with containment procedures often being extensive and complex. The Foundation often can't contain these SCPs well due to not having a solid understanding of the anomaly, or lacking the technology to properly contain or counter it. A Keter SCP does not mean the SCP is dangerous, just that it is simply very difficult or costly to contain.. ◊

I followed it through the underbelly of the city, chasing through sewers, and subway tunnels. Chasing it on new legs, since it felt the need to take mine all those years ago. I now know. This is where it rests, this is where it feeds. It will be back, I will be ready.

The thin air clawed at her lungs, turning every step into the effort of a sprint. Ahead, a faint glow lit the horizon. Adrienne thought it was unnaturally bright for day—soft, steady, unmistakably artificial. A city, maybe. And the soldiers’ tracks pointed straight toward it.

Adrienne hesitated. There would be no help. Running into Horocyclians or hybrid soldiers would be suicide. And yet she knew exactly what the hybrids were after: the Aeternum Core.

Everything she’d learned about the Core had been speculation—Arcturian theories stitched together from fragments of a recovered ancient codex. No firsthand accounts. No certainty. Just warnings and myth. But if even half of it was true—if the Core really governed the flow of all time and space—she couldn’t let the hybrids gain access to it.

She set her jaw and followed the glow. As long as the boot prints stayed ahead of her, she might avoid crossing paths with them.

Two more explosions rolled across the plains, low and distant. Fighting. Definitely fighting.

She pushed on, scanning the barren landscape for movement. The sun beat down through the thin atmosphere, and the sky’s frantic swirl of stars and planets above made her stomach lurch. She had to focus on the ground.

A shadow swept over her—vast, angular, alive. Adrienne dove behind a cluster of boulders, pressing herself into a narrow gap. She held her breath.

She peered up from her hiding place looking up into the faceted eyes of a creature the size of a bus as it soared overhead. The creature’s wings roared, shimmering like stained glass caught in a storm. Its mandibles clicked in a pattern that felt disturbingly intentional, like a language she wasn’t meant to understand.

Dozens more followed, a whole swarm, all arrowing toward the distant glow.

They didn’t see her.

She stayed still until the last of them vanished into the horizon, then let her breath out slowly, hands trembling. She needed a moment—just a moment—to steady herself before moving again.
