Dreyfuss + Blackford Architecture’s design for the Powerhouse Science Center re-envisions a historic riverfront structure as a hub for science education, exploration and promotion in the City of Sacramento. On the banks of the Sacramento River, the Science Center grows out from an abandoned power station building. As a principal component of the Riverfront activation, the Powerhouse Science Center anchors Robert T. Matsui Waterfront Park and borders the southern terminus of the 32-mile American River Bike Trail.
Vacant for over half a century, the structure undergoes a complete historic rehabilitation and the construction of a new floor level inside. A new two-story addition projects from the east side, containing a lobby, classrooms, offices and a cafe. A 110-seat planetarium is prominently on display with a zinc-clad hemispheric dome rising above the building’s mass. As representation of our place in the universe, the facade and building mass is sectioned by multiple planes, creating continuous vector lines that extend across the building and site. From satellites to world landmarks, the lines form connections with local and global points of interest.
The original PG&E Power Station B was designed in 1912 in the Beaux Arts Style by architect Willis Polk and was formally closed in 1954. It is on the National Register of Historic Places, California Register of Historic Places and the Sacramento Register of Historic & Cultural Resources. The Powerhouse Science Center is designed to achieve a USGBC LEED Rating of Silver.

I have been crazed. Crazy. Insane. I have gone to life's limits trying, failing, and exceeding in making in experiments. But never, in my life or any other mad scientists, have done anything like this.
After years of studying the human nervous system, I have come across an odd sample of DNA. I tested the DNA in a big machine- a charograph. It tests DNA and makes sure it is low and average; their blood sugar. But this DNA was yellow. Almost as if the DNA was broken, or something else...
Finally, I drew the conclusion that it had nothing to do with what I thought it had. It turned out that the pollution cause the person to change. Starting with DNA, the virus turns to mutation. And who knows what else...

He is popularizing science through song, innovative demonstrations and motivational speech since 1990 in different parts of Odisha state without taking any fees.
Dr. Panda is an extreme motivational speaker in science and possess magical scientific demonstration and a crowd puller.
Innovator Mihir Kumar Panda loves nature and in his agricultural farm he does not uses the chemicals , fertilizers and pesticides. In his farm even the smallest creatures like snakes, caterpillar, white ants, worms ,vermies are in peace and are managed successfully not to do harm.
Dr. Panda is an Educationist, an environmentalist, a poet for science popularization, a good orator, a best resource person to train others in specific field of science and engineering.
The uniqueness of Simple Innovation and scientific activities and achievements ofDr. Panda can not be assessed without visiting his laboratory which is a living wonder in the realm of science.
From a small cake cutter to mechanical scissor, from a play pump to rickshaw operated food grain spreader and from a village refrigerator to a multi-purpose machine, thousands of such inventions and innovations are proof of Dr. Panda's brilliance.

I'm so fed up with the Scence Museum, so bored. It's hard even to distract yourself with taking photos because you're always worried some half-wit will think you're trying to steal images of their revolting, cretinous offspring. The Wellcome Wing is better than the rest of the museum, although the Pattern Pod is an utter waste of time, but at least the lighting is predictably weird.
These 'scientists of the future' are affecting insouciance as they emerge from one of the bone shaking simulator rides that have turned the place into an up-market Thorpe Park.
Friday night, just before sunset, I went for a nice evening walk at the garden. The Plant Science Center has a number of laboratories and environmental chambers where they can emulate any world environment for plant experiments. The Saint Louis Science Center, founded as a planetarium in 1963, is a collection of buildings including a science museum and planetarium in St. Louis, Missouri, on the southeastern corner of Forest Park.

Science World is a science centre run by a not-for-profit organization called ASTC Science World Society in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located at the end of False Creek and features many permanent interactive exhibits and displays, as well as areas with varying topics throughout the years.
Prior to the building being handed over to Science World by the city government in 1987, the building was built as Expo Centre for the Expo 86 world's fair. Following the end of Expo 86, the building was re-purposed as a science centre. The science centre opened on May 6, 1989, as Science World. The museum was branded as Science World at Telus World of Science under a naming rights agreement with sponsor Telus Corporation from 2005 to 2020 before it reverted to its original name.
