These cliffs are called Raukar ( sing. Rauk ) Limestone formations, quite common on Gotlland, a swedish island in the Baltic Sea
Taken in a region called Innerdalen in Norway.
Too tired to mount the camera on the tripod, after 12 hours hiking and 4 more to go, at least I managed to get a handheld shot of this magic place in the middle of the night one hour past midnight!

Skeletal Mess
Felt like this was a pretty little peek into the simple, slow paced, pastoral life of rural Norway in the Hjelledalen Valley. Have so loved visiting Norway. The people have been wonderful as has been the breathtaking mountainous and waterfilled scenery. Beauty seems to abound around every corner and through every tunnel.
The European brown bear
In Scandinavian Wildlife Park you will meet the European brown bear, but there are brown bears all over the world. There are some size and color differences, and they are called different names; in Canada and Alaska they are called Kodiak and Grizzly bears, and in Russia they are called Kamchatka bears. But it’s essentially the same brown bear that lives all over the world.
The Bear Park
Get overwhelmed by our fantastic 2.5 hectare big Bear Park with caves, hills, trees and lots of water. The Bear Park is quite unique and one of the World’s largest, so our bears are very lucky!

Fun Fact
The Øresund Bridge is part of a unique hybrid structure: a bridge, an artificial island (Peberholm), and a tunnel. This design was chosen to protect air traffic near Copenhagen Airport and preserve the delicate marine ecosystem.
Poulsbo Washington was settled by a Norwegian in the 1880’s and then became a destination landing spot for Scandinavian immigrants since, referred to as little Norway, it is a charming little town with a delightful downtown with much Norwegian influence. It was named Poulsbo after a Norwegian village of the same name as the Olympic mountain range and the Puget Sound reminded the settlers of the fjords of Norway. The architecture on Main Street definitely reflects the bright Norwegian & Scandinavian influence.
