On September 28, 2017, OCE hosted a partnering forum bringing together potential collaborators on technology and demonstration projects and facilitate partnerships between start-ups/scale-ups and financial institutions.

This was offered under the new Cybersecurity Fintech Innovation Pilot Program (CFIPP), a one-year, $7.8-million initiative funded by the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Science (MRIS) and delivered by Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) in collaboration with the Toronto Financial Services Alliance (TFSA).
