Continuing his career-long efforts on behalf of children and their families, Senator Chris Dodd (D-CT) announced a new partnership between two major child advocates, Save the Children and First Focus, to develop an annual report card on the state of American child. Esther Saidi and her 13 month old son Chigonjetso, from the Chilomoni township, Blantyre. Chigonjetso was born prematurely on 21st October 2012 at six months of pregnancy. He was put on the innovative bCPAP (bubble continuous positive airway pressure) machine at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital as part of a clinical trial.
