For people who loves green, love our enviroment to save our earth....

We live in a fast world.

We love to have a fast life.

But is nature following us? Is it adaptable to our ever changing needs?

When we are going to look back at mother nature?

When we hear her call for sustainable development?

Other than The Republic Day: Jan 26th,,Indian Independence day August 15th is one of the three national holidays in India.

The intention behind this tricolour is an attempt to create a shot similar to Indian National Flag.

The Indian National flag's saffron color symbolizes courage and sacrifice, white stands for peace and truth, and green is for faith and chivalry.

So I here by wish you all a great day.

Because the use of tricolour in that national flag has great meaning attached to it.

Jan 26th 1950 we replaced the Government of India Act to Constitution of India.

My most fvrt City. The most vibrant port city -having a coast line of 48kms-situated on the south-west coast of the Indian peninsula. It is surrounded by the Western Ghats on the east and the Arabian Sea on the west. It was from Kochi that the colonization of India started. It was/is an important spice trading centre. Now it is a significant commercial and industrial hub of India because of the IT boom.

As a final note?

What makes this city beautiful..The people, the sea, Chinese fishing nets, multi culture, Jew street and kaikas biriyani (a famous shop which provides amazing biriyani),Mariane drive, cherai beach..and many more. For me,what makes this city close to my heart is, my days with my friends here..The short train journeys to this city, window shoppings, those second hand book sellers in the street ( A street version of ebay) and those long walks with friends..

Update: I had given a border earlier defining the boundaries( pixel's/datas )in this frame but after traveling with ajay visual panoram"s remarks about the frame above...yes i feel who am i to give boundaries for mother nature? We, the simple human being, always make this mistakes we define (or predefine) things, we try to define almost everything. We try to provide boundaries from ecology to emotions. We limit ourselves with well defined boundaries or self/ social imposed restrictions. Yes the process of elimination. When will we learn to think outside those boxes????

I deleted the boundaries given earlier to the frame..now it is more than pixels it is a beautiful profile of mother nature. I am glad I am part of mother nature...

About Valentines day:

Do we need a day for love? We can debate for hours, but it is a fact, this consumer world has an influence on us. And we all love to be part of celebrations. So we like days like Valentines day or Love Day. Here comes another Feb 14th.

So why, when and where this Valentines day started?

It all started with Saint Valentine. The saint of Love.

Valentine's Day is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions. It is traditionally a day on which lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The day first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.(Courtesy : Wiki.). It was sort of not that popular celebration before the influence of" World wide web". It is in fact and online celebration later extended to street. Now every remote corner in the earth has something to sell related to Love that day, card, flower or some emotions (:P).

Praveen asked me yesterday do you need something for Monday??? I was surprised to see even a non materialist person like my other half is "concerned" about that day. Whether he will buy me anything tomorrow that is another question.

From an artistic POV we are thinking creatively. But what is truth behind? We are spending a small amount for Love. "Few bucks"-Can we love buy with that few bucks???Dont know.

All right it is time for bed..(If you are in that time Zone)

Close the book you are reading whether it is classic or modern,

Let the lamp sleep with the dark,

It is time for another night..yet another night.

Good night from me...to all of you.

Dears,

Hope you all are fine and enjoying your week.

Well about me..I am doing good. Whether is wet and windy here. (still).

Can see few dew drops. There is a lonely tree here, near our city centre and daffodils first came there. So my February days starts with a short walk around that tree and today I saw the blossom.

Nothing much to click, so back to archives and to my fvrt subject matter, Peacock feather.

When I was a child, having a peacock feather is some sort of a pride among kids. My friend had two peacock feathers for her own and for a whole month I did all her homework for getting one from her peacock feather collection. And we believed if we hide this peacock feathers from the sight of sky this will give birth to new ones );-. So we used to hide this in our note books. When we grew up we loose all this innocent bits and pieces of life. But the memories of childhood are as colourful as they were before. Like the colours in a peacock feather.

Enjoy your week..Enjoy your childhood memories.

This Flower is called mahabharatham flower in India. Mahabharatham is one of the greatest epics. And it tells the story of two great forces. Kavuravas and Pandavas. Kavuravas were 100 brothers and one sister. Pandavas are five in number. And Krishna is considered to be the nucleus of this story.

So if we count the petals of this flower the top part is considered as Krishna.

Then 5 of those below is pandavas, surrounded by 100 other petals. Interesting???

Taken from a paddy field in kuttanadu, kerala.

Once this paddy fields were a typical feature of kerala. It was so much connected with the social, political and cultural life of people there. Their main art forms or rituals are some way or other connected with the harvest season. The paddy cultivation plays a major role in socio-cultural life of rural India. Many festivals such as Onam in Kerala, Bihu in Assam, Sankranthi in Andhra Pradesh Thai Pongal In Tamil Nadu, Makara Sankranthi in Karnataka, Nabanna in West Bengal celebrates harvest of Paddy.
