Took this on a cloudy day at Great Sand Dunes National Park. The clouds seemed to bring out interesting colors and definition in the sand dunes.

This was taken from entrance road just after entering the park.

Great Sand Dunes National Park - San Luis Valley, Colorado November 2010

Between the sea and the dunes at Ynyslas. Despite the sun, it was bitterly cold and windy, with driving sandstorms on the drier sandflats. It was only 13:38 GMT, so the length of the shadow proves it was the middle of winter.
