A textured stainless steel sculpture on the corner of 4th and B Streets in San Mateo, California. Typical of the artworks that are publicly displayed in parks and street corners throughout this city though many are unidentified.

I took pieces of white wool pre-felt and folded them using shibori resist techniques. They were dyed several times with different resist foldings. I then hand embroidered them together with silk and rayon threads and added the beadwork.
