The fog was constantly moving and changing shape. Only for brief moments would there suddenly be a clear view of the downtown skyscrapers - and it was so cool!! Then they would be obscured by fog once more.

La Sierra de San Donato (Beriain) es un macizo y estribación montañosa de la Comunidad Foral de Navarra, situada en la parte norte de la Sierra de Andía, cerca de las localidades de Huarte-Araquil.
Su nombre se debe a la ermita dedicada a dicho santo y a San Cayetano que hay en su cumbre más importante, la de Beriáin (1493 m).

A view of the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge. I used to drive across this bridge daily. Fortunately, on October 17, 1989, I was working in the East Bay, and actually came home from work early (to watch the baseball World Series between teams from Oakland and San Francisco). Shortly after 5 pm, a large earthquake struck, causing considerable damage, injury and loss of life. It was the strongest earthquake I ever experienced. A portion of the eastern section of the Bay Bridge collapsed that day, along with a double decker freeway (known as the Cypress Structure) in Oakland (which I also regularly used). Just goes to show you how quickly life can change. Photos of the damage to the bridge and freeway can be seen in the article on Wikipedia. The Parish Church-Museum of San Nicolás and San Pedro Mártir de Valencia is a parish church located in the historic center of Valencia, specifically between the neighborhoods of La Seu, El Carme and El Mercat. It is one of the best examples of coexistence of a building with a Gothic structure from the 15th century with a spectacular Baroque decoration from the 17th century. After its restoration in 2016, it is popularly known as the Valencian Sistine Chapel.2 It has its usual hours of worship and also a schedule for tourist or cultural visits.
Since 1981 it has been a Site of Cultural Interest and a national Historic-Artistic Monument.

Cuando hace ya años, en mi juventud, conocí la hermosa ciudad guipuzcoana, sentí una bonita sensación que emanaba de cada rincón que mis ojos escrutaban en ese paisaje que me enganchó a primera vista, esa preciosa bahía semi encerrada por la pequeña isla de Santa Clara, a mitad de camino entre las aguas que tocan la orilla oriental con el Paseo Nuevo del Monte Urgull, donde desde su altura, erigido sobre el castillo de La Mota, la gran imagen del Sagrado Corazón con su gesto bendiciendo la ciudad, luce en las noches sobre la Bahía de La Concha y la otra zona donde al final de la playa de Ondarreta, el Peine del viento del escultor Chillida, acaricia la brisa o sujeta el fuerte viento que sopla a los pies del Monte Igueldo...desde su altura tomé estas vistas en una mañana de imborrable recuerdo para mí

The San Luis Reservoir is an artificial lake on San Luis Creek in the eastern slopes of the Diablo Range of Merced County, California, approximately 12 mi west of Los Banos on State Route 152, which crosses Pacheco Pass and runs along its north shore. It is the fifth largest reservoir in California.
La Piana di San Colombano vista dalla sella che la divide dalle discese che conducono a Isolaccia. Contrariamente ai tanti amici che pubblicano magnifiche foto di luoghi che raggiungono a piedi, io quassù ci sono arrivato con una comoda seggiovia prima e poi con uno skilift.

Dedicata a San Maurizio in ricordo dell’ordine Mauriziano che nel Settecento guidò e sostenne l’insediamento della nuova popolazione proveniente da Tabarca nell’isola di Sant’Antioco. Su un impianto neoclassico di gusto piemontese è particolare per la zona la citazione arabeggiante costituita dai due campaniletti e dalla cupola a calotta su pennacchi.
