My son's cat, who, it seems, has taken to terrifying the neighbourhood! Taken with my Lensbaby Velvet, and I would like to have acheived better focus, but I rather liked it! The sinister sweetness of the cat who, yesterday, after coming into the house and purring round our legs, then suddenly, and for no apparent reason, jumped on Baxter and gave him a proper telling off!! Poor little spoiled dog cried and needed a lot of sympathy! I find it hard to get the sort of focus with the Velvet that is possible, so I guess I must practice more...the soft focus can be gorgeous!
Samantha had a successful birthday party with lots of pool time. These are really sweet girls and they were super easy to have at the house!

See here the birthday boy!!
The day Sam came to live with my neighbours was the same day our dog Moos was operated upon. He had a tumor on his backpaw that needed to be removed and it didn’t look good. My neighbours were having mixed feelings because they were bringing a new family member home while the situation with Moos was looking bad.
So they connected the name of their new “buikschuiver” with Moos and named him Sam!
In the Netherlands the names Sam and Moos are connected like Tom and Jerry are! This was such a sweet thing of them to do:)
So seeing Sams friendly face with the beautiful black eyes or hearing someone calling his name makes me realize how lucky we are Moos is still with us!
