An image I will never forget? The sun rising in the Sahara desert. I know, it is a simple sunrise, but where I was, and those small clouds which were generating such incredible effect. Once more, the God of photographers or some Djinn of the sands, has decided to make a huge gift to me. Isn't incredible?

Trek to the desert camp just as the sun is setting. Quite an amazing experience. A real sense of loneliness and wonderment is felt while being in the Sahara. The large camel is names Bob Marley and the smaller camel (with a bigger attitude) is named Jimi.
Coronavirus lockdown has given me time to edit some more of my photos from a trip to Morocco last September.
Erg Chebbi is one of Morocco's two Saharan ergs - large seas of dunes formed by wind-blown sand. The dunes of Erg Chebbi reach a height of up to 150 meters in places.

Chasing the sky colouring came up pretty empty....I thought. Developing at home produced colours that were not the result of processing. Was it the sand of the Sahara in the atmosphere after all?
Yesterday evening a wonderful artwork of nature in the sky. Dust particles from the Sahara desert gave a wonderful sunset. I was a bit to late to go outside into fields to make a picture but glad I cloud make some pictures.
I took this picture trough the window of a bus. Maybe it's not the best shot ever but I found it interesting to see how the sky turned yellow by the dust of the Sahara.
A late spring setting sun warms the colours of the dunes in the Moroccan Sahara desert....

The dust of the sahara desert really makes a difference!
eng ... the heat is still intense, but no longer burning, almost like a thermal blanket that slowly releases the heat accumulated during the day. It is no longer an aggressive heat, but an enveloping embrace that pervades the entire body, instilling a sense of peace and satisfying tiredness. As the sun disappears on the horizon, painting the sky with shades of orange and purple, this sensation of heat connects you deeply with the immensity of the desert, giving you a moment of pure wonder and melancholy.
...just a real photography...
No artificial intelligence, no computer graphics...
