What an amazing job our Surf Lifesavers do!!! Headed to The Spit at the Gold Coast hoping to capture a shot with the yellow of our Surf Lifesavers for the theme, but they were otherwise engaged. A scuba diver had been caught in a rip and thrown against the rocks, his diving partner was keeping him up while the Surf Lifesavers came to the rescue. After successfully rescuing the diver this Lifesaver is hauled back up into the helicopter. Couldn't believe though that 10 minutes after the diver was rescued, people were swimming in the area between the red flags marked Danger - No Swimming! You just have to wonder what people are thinking sometimes....
