This ant crossing the path of a (I believe to be a Northern Bluet) seemed to enjoy safe passage, I'm not familiar with what Damselflies eat but whatever it is sure seems to be a mouthful, I had to sacrifice DOF for shutter speed due to the lower light and a breeze blowing it around.

Safed or Tzfas is a city in the Northern District of Israel. Located at an elevation of 900 metres (2,953 ft), Safed is the highest city in the Galilee and in Israel. Since the 16th century, Safed has been considered one of Judaism's Four Holy Cities, since that time, the city has remained a center of Kabbalah, also known as Jewish mysticism.
The Ari Ashkenazi Synagogue, located in Safed, Israel, was built in memory of Rabbi Isaac Luria, (1534 - 1572), who was known as the "Ari".It dates from the late 16th-century, it being constructed several years after the death of Luria, a great kabbalist who arrived in Safed in 1570. The synagogue is known for its colorful and ornate Holy Ark. It may be the oldest synagogue in Israel that is still in use.
Today (28 October) visiting UK minister for international development Lynne Featherstone attended the launch of the Safe Cities for Women campaign. The campaign is a £1.4 million project created by ActionAid and 50% funded by UK aid. In Bangladesh it will work in close collaboration with the government of Bangladesh, including the Ministries of Home, Information, and Women and Children Affairs. The project will work in 5 slums in Narayanganj District but the campaign will be nationwide.
Pictures from a popular safe driving initiative held on the campus. Students had the opportunity to take the wheel of a Mini simulator, underlining the hazards caused by under-inflated tyres.
Saw this sign on an Albertson's in Spokane, WA, and was stricken by how it looked like either an adult molesting a child or an abstract goatse.

Another shot taken the other day when we were still free of snow and the weather was still nice....
When I saw this tiny plant I noticed that it carried some kind of seeds or something similar inside, and considering the fragility of their small size it appeared as though they were safe inside the warmth of their leaves :)
