This church is one of the most visible landmarks in Paris. It was the first full day of my holiday and the weather was perfect.
Which photo do I start with after our trip to Paris? I spontaneously decided on Montmartre. The district that was created in 1860 by the incorporation of three villages. Coincidentally, but appropriately, three birds, I think they were pigeons, flew over the Sacré-Cœur Basilica.

Montmartre, Paris
Montmartre has been a place of worship since the time of the Druids of Gaul. After the Roman conquest, temples to Mars and Mercury were built on the site. The modern basilica to the Sacred Heart was erected in the latter 19th century. Prior to that it had been an abbey.

The Sacred Heart of the Parisian Underground is a woman who, very carefully and with love, walks gracefully along the Eiffel Tower.

Sacrebleu is an old French profanity, meant as a cry of surprise or anger.
I don't talk to flowers, they talk to me and I gladly listen, with my eyes!
A beautiful Blue Iris, just awakening and unfurling and being hit by light!!!
Sacrebleu, it SCREAMED!!! So very surprised, LOL.
Irises can be very showy.
Hope this makes you smile again, have a good day and thank you for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)
