Went to the National Rattlesnake Sacking Championship in Taylor, Texas, today. During a break in the event, I visited this boa constrictor for a photo op. :) Scroll down for two more photos.

We went for a walk one evening and spotted this little piggy in the window of a charity shop about ten years ago. The next day my husband went back and purchased it for £1. All these years later we are now volunteers who help to man this very same shop.
Thank you to every one who visits, faves or comments on my picture.
happy weekend.
Daniel Moore's rendition of the absolute devastating sack Cornelius Bennet put on Notre Dame quarterback Steve Beuerlein. Needless to say, Steve suffered a concussion from this hit.

In the past I would have taken this Praying Mantis egg sack home... but now I know they love to feast on Monarch butterflies and their caterpillars... I don't want them anywhere in my garden!
Brady Quinn is sacked by Parys Haralson, the only sack allowed by Notre Dame in their win over the Volunteers
About to unwrap a meal, I think. Just after this (actually caught on camera but cropped out) a black jumper came up from underneath to see what was up. A short duel ensued; not sure who got away with lunch!
Inspired by the popular "sack of potatoes" pose.

So many stars tonight as the Southern Cross continues its journey to the southern horizon. The dark patch of the Coal Sack nebula is obvious as is the bright star cluster Carina Nebula. The Large Magellanic Cloud is over on the left frame margin. Having a car go over the bridge providing the red tail light trails was a bonus.
Tied Sacks.
