I saw this on a walk and I couldn't remember when I'd last seen one. In lovely condition and I liked the colour.
The art object is a thorn in the side of the well-behaved citizens of Aarau. A plaque indicates that the object is moved every few months to comply with the law.

One for my pal Keith. A Saab 96 of 1971 is seen heading out if Wakefield on Denby Dale Road after the recent annual historic vehicle gathering. The spire of Wakefield cathedral stands prominent in the background.
One thing I notice here is that the bonnet of this car appears to be ajar. That might sound a little forgetful but I have found another photo of the same car taken at a different car show a few years ago and guess what the bonnet is also slightly open. I wonder why?

The Saab B17a was a Swedish bomber aircraft used during World War II, known for its sturdy design and reliability in combat situations. Despite its relatively small size, the B17a was capable of carrying a significant amount of ordnance and played a valuable role in the Swedish Air Force during the war.

Saab J35 Draken was a cornerstone in the swedish airforce during the cold war.
Designed to intercept bombers at high altitude and also successfully engage fighters.
J35 Draken was the first fully supersonic aircraft to be deployed in Western Europe
Sightseeing over St. Anna archipelago, just east of Linköping, where this Saab 17 was designed and built approx. 80 years ago.
Here the pilot is displaying the big landing gear covers, which doubled as dive brakes in the dive bombing role.

What a surprise to find two Saab Lansens in the US. This is an A32A, the ground-attack and maritime-strike version. 287 of these were built between 1955 and 1957. Its Swedish serial number is 32120.
I wonder if N4767R ever flew in US skies. Years later the plane was brought to the north side of the airport. It's fate remains unknown to me.
Was it really a Saab 92 (Saab's first production model, made 1949 to 1956) who drove in front of us, or was it a 93 (the next model)? I kept the distance in great respect, and after the next bend, the car had disappeared down a forest road. All that remained was the smell of two-stroke petrol and the thought that Sixten Sason had designed a car that fit so well on the Swedish roads.

The Saab 37 Viggen (Swedish for "the bolt" or "the tufted duck" is a retired Swedish single-seat, single-engine, short-medium range combat aircraft. Development work on the type was initiated at Saab in 1952 and, following the selection of a radical delta wing configuration, the resulting aircraft performed its first flight on 8 February 1967 and entered service in 21 June 1971.
