In memory of those brave and creative employees whose lives were taken from us during the Charlie Hebdo massacre. May they along with others in France that were murdered at the hands of terrorists in January 2015 rest in peace and never be forgotten.

of course I'm not Weihnachtsmarkt all of a sudden (I personally don't even like to go there, mainly due to my claustrophobia) but I still want to express my solidarity and bad wishes. And thank all my friends cordially who have asked about my family's safety and mine. I'm as safe as everyone of us is. je suis choquée et tellement triste. AND: je suis... ALIVE!

Tra Wienacht-Tobel e Schwendi, sui pochi chilometri di percorso della S25, la linea ferroviaria a cremagliera transita in una conca boschiva in mezzo al niente. Qui l’atmosfera di ferrovia secondaria è predominante: passaggi a livelli non assicurati, linea di contatto sospesa e automotrice del 1960. Le capre sono totalmente disinteressate dall’atmosfera che rapisce i fotografi, arricchita dalla luce del sole sempre più basso.
Zwischen Wienacht-Tobel und Schwendi, auf den wenigen Kilometern der S25, führt die Zahnradbahn durch eine bewaldete Senke mitten im Nirgendwo. Hier herrscht die Atmosphäre einer Nebenbahn: ungesicherte Bahnübergänge, eine hängende Fahrleitung und Triebwagen von 1960. Die Ziegen sind völlig uninteressiert an der Atmosphäre, die die Fotografen, bereichert durch das immer tiefer werdende Sonnenlicht, in ihren Bann zieht.
Fu costituita sui resti di un antico tempietto romano, pur se la tradizione popolare vuole che essa fosse stata costruita da San Giulio.
La datazione certa è dell'anno 1110 con l'atto di dedizione alla Beata Vergine Maria. Essa fu abbellita durante il corso dei secoli con affreschi tipici della tradizione artistico - medioevale.
