The pilot tender of the Belgian Pilotage Service "Pieter de Coninck" has brought the sea pilots aboard the two sea giants sailing in the background and is sailing back to the pilot harbour of the town of Flushing (Vlissingen)
The aluminimum hull is designed in such a way that operations can continue up to a wind force of 8 Beaufort at a wave height of 2,5 to 4 meters.
The ship is propelled by 2 jet foils and has a high course stablity and maneuverability so that the pilot can board the ship to be piloted in complete safety, without the ship having to slow down.
The cruising speed of this pilot tender is 28 knots ( 50 km per hour)

Hier je vous présentais le petit trouvé au premier matin de sa sortie du nid, fils ou fille unique semle-t-il, accompagné de sa mère, la voici sa mère tel qu'elle était positionné afin de bien surveiller son petit perché un peu plus bas. Comme je vous l'ai signalé, le petit aura au courant de l'après-midi monté sur sa perche du matin pour rejoindre sa mère. Voyez quelques images de cette vision de fin d'après-midi : photo 1, photo 2, photo 3. Le lendemain nous avons retrouvé le mâle encore bien installé aux abords de sa cavité mais nous n'avons pas localisé la mère et son petit. Le sur-lendemain même le mâle avait quitté sa cavité. La cavale de la petite famille se poursuivant plus profondément dans les secteurs boisés bien denses du Domaine et ce dans la plus stricte intimité...

I can't help it, I know I've published several photos with this frame but, I think, this beach is so beautiful that I can't stop photographing it over and over again.
Strong gate - weak fence! I don’t know what this gate is protecting because the road back into the property seems to be the “road less traveled.” I’ll tell you one thing, by the time one gets finished reading all the signs the dog will be upon you. Apparently, you can’t do anything on this property. Everything fun is forbidden - how boring to live there. They do make signs now that say ‘Trespassers will be Violated’. At least a sign like that is good for a laugh.
There are several ways into this secret property. You could just climb the gate or cut the wire on the fence. I don’t believe that there is a dog, but I’m not that curious to see what is back this overgrown road. If it is a pristine Jaguar in a barn, I will be kicking myself later. If there is indeed a dog, you would see him coming a long ways away and be back over the gate before he gets in attack mode. HFF

Questo è un omaggio all'ultima foto che ha postato il mio sole, è proprio colorata la nostra terra....
A cicli si fa arare, tra i solchi nasce l'ultimo grano, le sue foglie tenere sbucano dalla terra nuova di tanti colori e sono di un verde mai visto....
Intorno ci sono i colori dell'autunno, coi suoi alberi di giallo e rosso vestiti, completa l'opera il celeste inconsueto del cielo.....
La mia terra colorata.

Une image oubliée du printemps...
Les nombreuses nichées de Petits-ducs et la petite invasion de Parulines du printemps dernier au Parc Angrignon m'auront amené à complètement oublier de vous présenter cette image... Croisé aux abords de la petite baie du grand bassin d'Angrignon, au 2e jour de la sortie des petits d'Odi et Philémon, en compagnie de Jean-Guy Proulx et Serge Forcier, ce mâle, en déplacement, fut mon tout premier Cardinal à poitrine rose observé au Parc Angrignon. À part à l'Île Saint-Bernard où on peut le croiser à chaque printemps, je peux compter sur les doigts de la main mes rencontres avec un mâle de cette si belle espèce depuis les vingt-cinq dernières années. Un beau moment que celui de cette douce rencontre!

I saw something on Facebook last night that lingers on my mind today. It was about a rodeo couple I photographed many times over the years. I always admired their marriage because they seemed so happy together and the camera never lies. I didn't really 'know' them except though the lens and few chats over pictures. He was a true cowboy to the core and she was pretty talented horse woman with a rope and a winning smile. It was so evident how much they loved their many grandkids. Their ending was a sad one. She courageously battled an illness and passed at 64 in June. He died last week at 74 of a broken heart from missing the love of his life too much. How lucky were they to find a love like that. Most people don't find that their whole lives.
Anyway, I'm off to the rodeo. Happy Saturday everyone!
