Governor Kay Ivey visited the Dyer Family STEM Center Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Phenix City, Ala. The STEM Center is located on the campus of Phenix City Intermediate School. ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – USACE South Pacific Division Commander Brig. Gen. Mark Toy presents Demetrius Montoya (center) and Joseph Coston certificates recognizing their achievement in this year’s Central New Mexico Science and Engineering Research Challenge, held March 12-14 at the University of New Mexico. Montoya and Coston placed first in the Senior Division –Energy and Transportation category. The Challenge is part of Intel’s International Science and Engineering Fair’s (Intel ISEF) Research Challenges which is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition. More than 1,700 high school students from over 70 countries, regions, and territories are awarded the opportunity to showcase their independent research and compete for more than $5 million in prizes.
This is the stem of a flower given to my daughter as part of the Daddy/Daughter Date Night last weekend.
Why not? Whatever catches my eye is game for a capture. But, I'm also trying to expand my palate to include the taste of wine. It's a slow process.
