It was a very wet day! My one and only visit to Bognor Regis which I did as it offered some Southern Region milage direct from Liverpool!

FAB-96 Xian MA-60 TAM
Delivered in November 2007, together with sistership FAB-97, they were mainly used for flights into eastern Bolivia. FAB-96 did a gear-up landing at Guayaramerin in January 2012, but was repaired, already the 2nd time, as the same happened a year before at Rurrenabaque. Last noted in 2015 it's highly doubtful that those Chinese turboprops still grace the Bolivian skies.

What had been PMT (First Pennine) IDC 947 (M947 SRE) is seen here, recently painted up in First Manchester livery with a renumbering to 7947 - all seemingly part of First Manchester's "takeover" (as they saw it anyway) of the Pennine operation. Then, to muddy the waters still further, they went and transferred it instead to First Pioneer in Rochdale. My photos of the time also record Pennine's Plaxton-bodied M966 XVT as being similarly treated, as 7966.

Pou Pring village, Sre Ampoun Commune, Pichreada district, Mondulkiri - Cambodia
Working on an assignment for the spanish NGO Paz y Desarollo in the remote areas of Mondulkiri (Cambodia) I had the opportunity to meet some indigenous families in the small Village of Pou Pring. They belong, or maybe is more correct saying belonged, to the Pnong ethnies who are an aboriginal Cambodian minority ethnic group, who speaking a Mon-Khmer language. The Pnong minority are normally not members of any organized religion, but instead are animists who revere nature.
Nowadays they lost almost all the ancient traditions and they wear western dresses and, above all, they started to burn the forest that sourrounded the village (in order to plant potatoes and other vegetables). Driving the road to the village was like entering in a some sort of hell... flame, smoke and trees on fire everywhere... with the forest they are burning their traditions, their language, their history, they beloved spirits.
Thanx to Daniele & PyD Staff for the support!! :)

Marketed alongside its 1600cc sibling the new cars featured a new overhead camshaft engine, with 104bhp for the 2000 and 83bhp for the 1600 and a higher axle ratio. The suspension has live axle with trailing arms, Panhard rod and coil springs instead of the traditional leaf springs, and a double wishbone front suspension assembly,
Options include, alternator, servo front disc brakes, automatic transmission (Borg-Warner) to 1969) and heated rear window. Rebadged as 2000SL for 1970-72.
The facelift from autumn 1969 saw a new dashboard with simulated wood appliques, glove box (the original FDs did not feature this owing to US safety concerns over the glove box door springing open in the event of a crash), low level fuel warning light, the optional GM Strasburg auto transmission, energy absorbing steering column and a host of other minor changes. They were spotted externally by sill strips that deflected road filth off the lower body panels. (thanks Vauxnut)
Just been informed by contact Paul Clutterbuck that some were fitted with the GM 202 cu in (3300cc) engine, so this may be original and miquoted by the DVLA as 3500cc
*This car is registered as having a 3500cc engine, note the oil cooler and lower front bumper strakes.. Good looking car, that also sounds throaty,
