A lovely build outside a shop (might have been So Many Styles...the build was so intriguing I truly forgot the store!)
A few weeks back a lovely customer (Paniagua Rubble) came to me to discuss a custom build I simply could not resist. I am a little fussy about accepting custom work, mainly because I want to be certain I can deliver to the expectations of the client. In this case the genre was a perfect fit and Paniagua was wonderful to work with, she knew what she wanted and she articulated it perfectly. She provided me with pics and a cute little model to make my job a breeze. We worked together and came up with Serendipity, Paniagua has her very own personalized verson of the home but she was kind enough to allow me to retain the intellectual property rights to the design and therefore I am able to offer it to you. A big heartfelt thanks to Paniagua xx
Designer Prims Serendipity is a contemporary designer home, surrounded with floor to ceiling glass. This is the perfect home to set over the sea or lake because the animated infinity pool meets perfectly with sea level.
There is a texture change menu for walls and floors and you can create accent walls to make it your own or change your mind as often as you like. Deep foundations allow you to rez this over any terrain. Animated kitchen & bathroom are included.

It was located in the basement of the Silverberg & Lince Building (S & L) at Fifth and Walnut. The building was demolished in 1960.

The Story of Menekhara

Menekhara rose from the desert like a second sun.
Its king believed gold was the breath of eternity, a gift meant not to be spent, but gathered...perfected. Under his command, the world was stripped of its treasures. Caravans arrived endlessly, heavy with relics, jewels, and sacred objects taken from distant lands. Nothing was too rare, nothing too holy to be claimed.
From this wealth, he built his vision.
At the Per-Ra Ankhet, the Temple of the Living Sun, where light poured through towering columns and danced across walls of gold. Each day, priests lifted their voices to the heavens, praising a king who believed himself chosen by the sun.
At the heart of the city rose Ankharis, the Solar Crown, his palace and temple, where he ruled in brilliance, convinced his reign would never fade. And the city flourished...
Through the paths of the city, processions carried offerings in silence, their footsteps echoing like ritual. In surrounding buildings artists carved the king’s glory into stone, painting him as eternal. People lived in quiet order, while the gardens of Senebet Villa offered peace beneath still waters and soft shade.
And to end of the city, gleaming beneath the open sky, stood Sekhem-Duat, the Tomb Temple. There lay Hekar-Ra, the Divine Vizier of the Sun, the mind behind the city, the keeper of its treasures, honored in death as in life.
Menekhara was perfect!
But not for all.
Beyond the golden walls, the queen saw what others did not.
She saw workers collapse beneath the weight of endless construction. She saw villages emptied to feed the king’s hunger for gold. She saw families left with nothing, while temples were filled with riches that would never be touched.
Where the king saw legacy, she saw loss.
Where he saw eternity, she saw suffering.
She spoke to him, more than once. But the king did not listen.
To him, sacrifice was necessary. To her, it had gone too far.
In time, her grief became resolve.
On a night of ceremony in Neferis, the city gathered beneath firelight and gold. The king stood before his people, radiant, certain, untouchable.
The queen stood beside him.
And when the moment came, she ended his reign.
Not for power.
Not for ambition.
But to end what he would not.
Quietly. Decisively. Without spectacle.
The sun rose the next day as it always had.
Menekhara still stood, untouched, unchanged in form.
But its purpose shifted.
From Ankharis, the queen took the throne.
The flow of gold slowed. The taking from distant lands ceased. The city’s wealth, once hoarded, began to return to its people. In Neferis and beyond, life grew steadier. Senebet Villa became a place not just of beauty, but of healing.
On the buildings walls, new carvings appeared, not of a king above all, but of a city standing together.
The processions through the black stone paths continued, but no longer carried tribute of conquest...only offerings of devotion.
And in Per-Ra Ankhet, the prayers changed.
Not for glory.
But for balance.
Menekhara still shone beneath the sun.
But now, it shone for all who lived within it.
