It was a lovely evening. This musician was playing wonderful music at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody, BC, Canada.

Possible confusion
Orchis simia is close to the warrior orchis (Orchis militaris) with which it can hybridize. It also hybridizes with Orchis purpurea, giving individuals whose flowers are shaped like O. simia but darker in color, reminiscent of O. purpurea

From the torch singers song
And the sweat was floodin' her eyes
The catwalk squeaked

And the smoke was too heavy to rise"---- John Prine
" Mockingbirds don't do one thing but make music for us to enjoy. They don't eat up people's gardens, don't nest in corncribs, they don't do one thing but sing their hearts out for us. "
They are singing day and night. I've heard them imitate Phainopeplas, Yellow-chevroned Parakeets, Red-tailed Hawks, Cassin's Kingbirds, auto alarms.... "In the nineteenth century, people kept so many mockingbirds as cage birds that the birds nearly vanished from parts of the East Coast. People took nestlings out of nests or trapped adults and sold them in cities such as Philadelphia, St. Louis, and New York, where, in 1828, extraordinary singers could fetch as much as $50." allaboutboids

This is a Japanese coffee pot, quite similar to traditional tea pots. The ptotery style is known as "Banko-Yaki". The interior is not glazed and has an uneven surface, so as to allow absorption of the bitterness, for a more mellow taste.
You just put ground coffee into the pot and pour hot water on it. A stainless steel filter prevents the grounds from getting into your coffee.
It's cute and tastes very nice! 😊
