Steam-type fantasy flyer. The engine is based on the Stirling Engine, so, no boiler. Probably just as fantasy as steam flight though.
Another strange one - the Triumph was in the banger yard (see neighbouring photo) until recently, so why crush it?

A Big thank you to Ben, John, Lewis and all of the other Staff here at YMS Travel for inviting Me to visit their depot.
The Red Trident TP417 LK03CFN off to the left in the distance was also here in August: www.flickr.com/photos/69558134@N05/35597938824/, and is now owned by Rourke Bus Hire having previously been used by Ensign Bus Sales on TV in London, however John Kidd From YMS Travel told me in August that YMS frequently have to borow it!, so much so that John said they were thinking of buying it from Mr. Rourke who's also a YMS Driver, as Mr. Rourke has struggled to find work for it and is not yet allowed to use his vehicles on Rail Replacement work, and had bought TP417 LK03CFN for School hires and some Evening Hires that his London Transport Buses Routemaster Bus RML2454 JJD454D: www.flickr.com/photos/69558134@N05/37224940856/, is not suitable for.
And be sure to check by my other acount: www.flickr.com/photos_user.gne?path=&nsid=77145939%40..., to see what else I saw very recently!!
Yes I'm back again.
However due to my main computer on which I edit my work being struck down with a big bad virus, this picture and all the others I am uploading, were Unedited but have now been replaced with Edited versions. So enjoy and Thanks for your patience and understanding.
I do still hate everything about this shit that is new Flickr and always will, but an inability to find another outlet for my work that is as easy for me to use as the Old BETTER Flickr was, has forced me back to Flickr, even though it goes against everything I believe in.
I don't generally have an opinion on my own work, I prefer to leave that to other people and so based on the positive responses to my work from the various friends I had made on Flickr prior to the changes I have decided to upload some more of my work as an experiment and to see what happens.
So make the most of me before they delete my acount: www.flickr.com/photos/69558134@N05/?details=1, to stop me complaining!!

The Coys International Historic Festival meeting at Silverstone in July 1998 celebrated 50 year of racing at Silverstone with a display featuring a car for each of those 50 years. This is the car that represented 1997. It's a Stewart Ford SF01, produced by the team formed by three-times World Champion Jackie Stewart and his son Paul. Paul Stewart Racing had been formed in 1988 for Paul to take part in the British Formula 3 Championship the following year. In 1990 the team underwent a major expansion which included a two-car team led by Paul Stewart to contest the Eutopean Formula 3000 series. At the end of 1993 Paul retired as a driver to concentrate on building up the team which culminated in 1996 with the formation of the Stewart Grand Prix team to take part in the 1997 Formula 1 World Championship with this car. Rubens Barichello and Jan Magnussen were the drivers in that first season which was marked by a series of retirements, their best effort being Rubens Barrichello's second place at Monaco. The 1998 season was no better with the SF02, but in 1999 Johnny Herbert gained the Stewart Grand Prix car's only victory winning the European Grand Prix at the Nürburgring in a Stewart SF3. At the end of that season Ford bought the team and, renamed as Jaguar, it participated in the World Championship for the next five years. The car's fortunes barely changed, however, and despite the team's two cars managing to finish most races in the 2004 season no podium places were gained and Ford sold the team to the Red Bull Racing team at the end of the season.
