From Pier 14, I got stuck in traffic getting to Treasure Island, which was another destination that I had been meaning to go to but never found the opportunity. On this excursion, I simply had no excuse.I will have to go back though; there is at least one other shot that I want, plus, there's the Treasure Island Bar and Grill that looks too interesting to pass up a second time.
Once in a #bluemoon, I get up bright and early to watch the moon set, with San Francisco downtown as a foreground. This is a series of photos documenting the #touchdown. A closer look as the moon descends toward the horizon.

A two image blend of the fireworks festivities over San Francisco on new years eve.
I started with one exposure to get a good shot of the city, and then blended an image of the skyrockets going off.
I eliminated the smoke in the sky and the many boats in the bay which makes everything look much cleaner than it actually did at the time.
Some bozo also turned off the beacon on the Transamerica pyramid building just eight minutes before the show started, and it looks much nicer with it adding it's blue glow to the scene.
